FORTNITE ROUTINES:
for intermediate and advanced players:

for beginner players:

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT COMP

What Is Comp?
Comp is short for "competition" and every week there's a tournament/competition going on in Fortnite and any one can participate it. You can play it from home. But it depends on what competition it is, if it's called "Platinum Reload Cup" then that means you have to be platinum rank in reload to play it.
Example:
Let's say you want to play the "Loserfruit Skin Cup" competition. And to get the Loserfruit skin, you must get 100 points. So once you get in a reload game, you need to get as much as kills as possible so you can get that 100 points and Once you get 100 points, fortnite will gift you the Loserfruit Skin. In conclusion, you get the skin for free by playing the competition called "Loserfruit Skin Cup"
------------------
What Is PR?
PR stands for Power Ranking and they are points you get from playing competitions. Each competition you play you get a specific amount of points depending on how good you did. Pros who always participate in fortnite competitions have thousands of pr like in the image show below:

-----------------
What Is FNCS?
FNCS is like the MAIN Fortnite tournament/competition. Everyone who participates in it will take it 10x more seriously compared to other tourneys/cups/competitions. Anyone who qualifies for the Major Finals will get to play in the Global Championship (The Big Stage).

-----------------
FNCS isn't as easy as it might seem. You must first qualify all 3 division cups. You start with division 3, and from there you either go straight to Division 1 or 2 (base on your performance). Those who qualify Division 1, will participate in the "Play In Stage". The "Play In Stage" goes on for 2 Days. Day 1 and Day 2. If you place top 66 on the leaderboard, you will play the "Group Stage". Each victory royale in the Group Stage is a instant qualification to the Major Finals. Now IF you didn't past the Group Stage, don't worry, you will get to play "Last Chance Qualifier" Each victory royale in the Last Chance Qualifier will get their way to Major Finals. The Major Finals consists of 2 Days. Day 1 and Day 2. The trio who places 1st on the Major Finals Leaderboard will be the FNCS Major Champions.

FORTNITE TIPS
For those new to the game:
1. My tip for you is to constantly try building whenever you're in game. It's better then not building at all. Trust me, maybe for now it seems hard but when you're always building, you WILL at some point, get A LOT more better. Don't just build in creative, build in Reload and Battle Royale too. I promise you, if you start building more in game, you'll start to improve way faster.
------------
2. My second tip is if you're still new to this game, play squad fills or with friends so that you have some help and support. Don't play zero build.
------------
3. Play the Pit Free For All, most people there are pretty bad compared to players in zonewars etc
For Decent Players:
1. My first tip to learn new mechanics & get good game sense. Learn when to take fights and when to not. Learn new peaks so you can deal damage to the opponent without taking any. If you're already decent at building, try doing side jumps, there are lots of videos on that.
------------
2. My second tip is to focus on your box fight skills. Because in game, an important skill you need to have is box fighting. Also in box fighting you must know how to dominate the fight and one of the keys to dominating it is good piece control. Which is when you try to make most of the builds around you and your opponent yours .
So grind maps like Piece Control 2v2/1v1 and Box PVP.
------------
3. Third is to always 1v1 people who are BETTER then you, that way, you will pick up their skill level and learn from your mistakes everytime you die to them. If you always verse someone who's below your skill level, it'll eventually make you worse. I recommend you to play Realistics or 1v1 Build Fights.4. My last tip is that you don't HAVE to w-key every single solo/duo/trio you see. There are times when it's better to not w-key and wait until you have like minimum 500 builds (depending on the situation ofc) or whenever you're ready. Sometimes players rush everything and end up dying every fight cause they were never ready to rush in the first place. I'm not saying that DON'T w key,
I'm saying that before you wkey, use your brain, analyze your surroundings and if you got an igl, ask them first or let them know.

BUILD MOVES YOU MUST KNOW
If you learn new build moves every week, it'll improve your freebuild a lot. Practice building in large maps with a terrain.
-------
watch videos like this one youtube if you want to learn some:

for those who are new:
I provided my own easy videos on simple build moves you can learn and follow along:
(scroll down)
Triple Edits/ Triple Editing
Quad Edits/ Quad Editing
Box/Boxing yourself up
Tarp/Tarping
90s/Cracking 90s.
there are a lot more build moves, the ones i showed are just some
FORTNITE YOUTUBERS
there's like another thousand more this is just some

DISCORD SERVERS
there are lots of fortnite discord servers but these are the ones i recommend as a female:

Tips On How To Edit Fast:
1. Go to settings,
2. At the top of your screen, go to GAME

3. Then scroll down until you see EDITING
4. Adjust the edit settings like this:

The next you can do to practice your edits is to play this map:

Just go to the search bar and type "edit" and you'll find it.
- Once you're in the map, you'll see something like this:

Then go inside the edit section

You willl spawn inside the edit practice area, and now you just choose which edit you want to practice

the more you practice in this map, the more faster you'll get at editing !
- Raiders Mechanics V5 also have an edit training map. I chose this one because it's easy to follow along for beginners -
MINDSET
Your mindset is also important when it comes to getting better.
Sometimes, it's your mind that's preventing you from being good.- Don't compare yourself to other pros, they took years to be where they are now.
- You don't NEED a PC to get good, it's all about skills. Watch this video if you don't believe me:
- Focus on your setup once you get good at the game. And just like my previous point, you don't NEED a really expensive setup to get good.
Tickle (a fortnite pro) himself said "No matter what setup you are on, you can still be good at the game"
I did a little research.. In this video, the keyboard he's using was really bad and the mouse was cute BUT it had a terrible response time and the DPI wasn't so good. The PC he bought was a really cheap pc and the quality was just a bit better then a console. So It wasn't like, a really high quality expensive pc, just a cheap one...The monitor he used was 60 hertz (which is really bad, even ps5 is better) yet he still beat the pros, even on a bad setup.
---------
The better aim you have, the faster you'll end fights. Sometime players focus too much on fast edits and building that they completely forget about their aim. You see, you can't kill someone without being able to hit your shots. This is why aim practice is just as important as building and edit practice.
--------
Here are tips on How to get Good Aim:
1. Play any AIM training map. There are so many and I'll introduce you to one you can use for now.

(just type aim in the fortnite search bar and you'll find it)
Once you ready up, you'll load in a game like this:

Now go to "AIM" section

(Go inside it)
Then when you spawn in, you can just choose any you'd like to practice. These are the ones I recommend:

There are A LOT more aim training maps. All you have to do is type "aim" in the search bar and you'll see so many. The map I showed above is just an easy one to follow along. The best map for aim training is Mechanics V5

2. Change your sensitivity!!!
This is REALLY important. Change it to something you're confortable with. In case you didn't know what sensitivity is: Sensitivity is how fast your aim movement moves when you move your mouse/joystick.

if you don't know how to change your fortnite sensitivity, don't worry too much because there are a lot of videos on youtube that you can follow.
3. Do Kovaaks!!! I know it cost some money but it's 100% worth it if you always have extra time to warm up and you want really good aim. A lot of Fortnite Pro outhere does Kovaaks and it helps a lot !
Once you buy Kovaaks, watch this video for a good routine that'll help you improve fast:

SETTINGS YOU MUST TURN ON
- at the top of your screen, press AUDIO -

- scroll down -

- PLEASE make sure you have visualize sound effects on, this is one of the most important setting !! -
- at the top of your screen, press GAME -

- scroll down -

- press this -

- Choose "AUTO", it will connect you to your own closest region. -

- Make sure your edit settings look this, (unless if you use simple edit, then you can skip this step).
Auto Confirm Edits, when turned on, it will confirm your edit without you having to press confirm. You just make an edit and it will confirm itself. -
How To Transfer Your Creative Skills To
Battle Royale & Reload
Everybody has once had this problem but eventually got over it. But if you try to fix this problem fast instead of waiting until it stops, you'll get better alot more faster.

1. Start playing realistics and solo/duo endgame maps.
These maps will help you a lot since they are very similar to Battle Royale. Once you're good at realistics and solo/duo engames, you'll eventually get good in BR as well.Note: Solo/Duo endgame maps are very sweaty, be prepared.

2. Pro Realistics 1v1 ( Map Code: 1233 3176 7108 )
But there's a slight problem with the maps I mentioned above. These maps give you creative loadout. Meaning you will spawn in with gold guns, heals and max mats. If you want to challenge yourself and improve quicker, play " Pro Realistics 1v1 " In this map, you will spawn in with a random amount of mats and average guns, which will help you get good without the perfect creative loadout. And if you're good even without gold guns and max wood etc, you will automatically be a pro fighter in game.- type the map code in the search bar -

3. You're not as relaxed in game
When you're playing creative, you're probably a lot more relaxed because you know that if you die, you can always respawn. And also in creative, you can leave at any time since it's not a real game. Now I'm not saying that you should be 100% relaxed in br or reload, what I'm trying to say is that you shouldn't worry too much to the point that you can't even focus. Trust me, worrying a lot effects your performance way more than you think.

4. Playing Smarter
Remember, you MUST learn how to play smart. Learn how to rotate, learn when to take fights and when to not. Gain experience on clutching etc. You won't be able to get these skills if you're constantly playing creative. Stop building too much in game, you need to know when to build alot and when to not. Like there are times when you don't HAVE to place a cone in your box, but there are times when you do.Watch videos like "How to fight smarter in Fortnite" or "How to get 200IQ in Fortnite"

5. Creative Skills Does NOT matter
I apologize if this sound rude but you will definitely hear many pros say this. You need to let go of this mindset that "if you're good in creative, you're good in game". This isn't 100% true. There are many people out there who thinks they're better than someone just because they beat that person in 1v1 Build Fights. The only way to know if you're better than someone is to see who gets more kils in game like reload or br and see who places better in tournaments. Play less creative maps (unless they're realistics/endgames) and start focusing on battle royale or reload.
FORTNITE INTERACTIVE MAP

yes, in case you didn't know, there's a website that you can go to and it will show everything on the fortnite map ( you can choose reload, br etc). Once you go to that site, you will see where each chest is located, each car is located and more.. crazy right?! While playing fortnite, you can open this site on your phone or on another device so you can see it while in game.
Here's the link:
How to W-Key?
This question is getting asked by a lot of fraggers. Knowing how to W Key, will increase the amount of kills you get every game, And maybe even get you a win, Keep in mind that W keying plays a big roles in pro gameplay, Like: Peterbot, Cold, MariusCOW, and more.

W Keying refers to playing very aggressively without backing off. In other words, applying constant pressure to whoever you encounter in game until you eliminate them.
Tips and Tricks
1) Getting a w-key Loudout
- An Assault Rifle
- A Shotgun
-An SMG
- A grappler or any other form that can help you rotate to your next target quicker than anyone else.
- Shied (Slurp fishes > Minis > Big Pots)

2) Deal Damage Before Entering a FightSimply sneak up to a player and deal damage to them before they hear your bullets and build around. The more damage you deal, the easier it will be to eliminate your opponent.

4) Approach Each Fight With CautionEven if you deal a significant amount of damage to your opponent before you decide to ‘jump into their box’, remind yourself that this player could be playing on a controller and that they could bait you to get closer to them and run at you spraying, essentially killing you very quickly due to the aim-assist on controller.Furthermore, take a quick look around for other players that could be interested in the fight. The last thing you want is to get third-partied mid-game and focus the whole lobby onto yourself. In that case, your chances of getting eliminated skyrocket.

5) Use your Builds to your AdvantageWhen w-keying in a “bot lobby”, the most likely scenario will be that your opponent gets boxed up and that you will need to box-fight them. That's why you must always practice box fights/piece control

COMMUNICATION
Good communication is key to winning in Fortnite, especially when you're playing as a team. Here are some tips to help you and your team stay coordinated and efficient:

1. Use Clear Callouts
When you spot an enemy near you, use a simple callout:
For example: "kids on the hill over there" or "shield pot here in the house."
This keeps everyone informed without cluttering the comms.
2. Mark Your Targets
Use the ping system to mark enemies, items, or locations.
Visual markers help reinforce your callouts and make it easier for your teammates to react quickly.
3. Establish Roles and Responsibilities
Before the match begins, decide who’s doing what.
For example: like who’s the IGL, Fragger, or Support.
Knowing your role reduces confusion and makes sure everyone stays focused when things get hectic.

4. Stay Calm Under Pressure
- It’s easy to panic and talk over each other in intense moments.
Practice staying calm and let one person take the lead with callouts.
- This keeps communication clear and allows everyone to hear the important info.
5. Regularly Update Your Teammates
- Keep your squad updated about your status
- Whether you’re low on health, ammo, or mats, also let them know if your strategy changes or if you’re about to engage an enemy.

6. Be Respectful and Supportive
- Good communication isn’t just about talking, it’s also about listening.
- Encourage your teammates, give helpful feedback, and keep the vibes positive, even when the game isn’t going your way.
---------------------------------------------
7. Practice Communication
- Just like your aim or building, communication can be improved.
- Practice with your team, review what worked and what didn’t, and tweak your style to build better synergy.
